MUSICIAN, COMPOSER AND MUSIC PRODUCER
Gonzalo Teran was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1972, he is a prolific musician, songwriter composer, music producer and educator. He started as a child learning from his parents and brothers. He studied some classical piano in the National Conservatory of Music "Carlos Lopez Buchardo" in Buenos Aires and privately with the masters Fernando Zaldivar (Berklee, Boston) and Gustavo Pires (Juliard School, NY).
However, his passion for music pushed him to learn other instruments, at the age of 14 he learned guitar with the master Eduardo De Posse. At the age of 17 he had voice coaching with the great Italian master tenor Gianfranco Lotti. At the same time, he learned music production and arrangements with Maximo Pera Renauld at MPR Records.
When he turned 26 years old he moved to Miami, FL where he had the great experience to work at United Stars production company with record artists and performers like Jose Luis "El Puma" Rodriguez, “Donato y Estefano” and "El Buki" between others. He has been on stage with great musicians, playing in concerts, festivals and TV shows in Miami.
Years later he started GT Music www.recordingstudiomiamigt.com, as a freelance recording studio, working with emerging and professionals artists from the Latin, European, and American background. Also working in different genres and getting a great production team with the best studio session musicians like grammy award winners Dan Warner, Lee Levin, Tony Perez and José Armando Gola among others. He has also been performing with different local bands, at pubs, concerts, festivals and TV shows. At the same time, he's been teaching music since 2000 with private students and also teaching at Center Tone Music School at Key Biscayne since 2009.
With an experience of more than 10 years teaching music, Gonzalo believes that music education is an essential human learning process, both intellectually and spiritually.
